Do one of the following:

Find and replace text in a page

  1. In Page view, do one of the following:
  2. On the Edit menu, click Replace.
  3. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for.
  4. In the Replace with box, type the replacement text.
  5. Do one of the following:

Find and replace text in a web site

  1. Switch to Folder view.

  2. If you do not want to search each page in the web site, select the pages you want to search.

  3. On the Edit menu, click Replace.
  4. Do one of the following:
  5. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for.

    For example, you can search for text that is not visible or editable in the page, such as the page title you set in page properties.

  6. In the Replace with box, type the replacement text.
  7. Click Find in Web.
  8. When Microsoft FrontPage lists the pages in which the text was found, do one of the following:

    When you have reviewed all occurrences of the text in the page, you are prompted to close the current document before continuing to the next one. Note that if changes were made, your page is automatically saved.
